The first Z70 broke after just 5 days. The screen read "zoom error fault" and I was unable to take any photographs. Not a good start whilst on my holiday in Andalucia. The camera was replaced on my return to the UK. Although it has several features, none of them seem to work to good effect, ie. camera shake, focus, red eye reduction and night shots. The design is slim and sleek which enables you to carry it in a pocket or handbag, however the disadvantages to this are that the function buttons are very small and fiddley. I paid less than £50 which is remarkably cheap for what you get, but on reflection I do wish I'd have paid more for a better model. I hold Fuji cameras in high regard but this is just a little too basic for my requirements.
Unfortunately I cannot comment on the performance of this camera as it was bought for a Christmas present, which hasn't been handed over yet! However, I CAN say that I am delighted with its appearance. It is very compact, much smaller than I'd envisaged and perfect for carrying in a pocket. The front slides down to reveal the lense. Pretty nifty! If the recipient tells me it performs well I will buy another for myself just to have handy in my handbag in case a photo opportunity should present itself unexpectedly. My own has a better specification but is heavier and bulkier.
Nice, compact camera for a great price. But, don't expect too much in the way of image quality. Like most low-end budget digital cameras, it doesn't like working in poor light conditions.
i was very excited to buy this camera it was good prise, nice design and very good specifications. I'm very disappointed now when i finally got it, the only true about it is design everything else very average, quality of pictures is poor if is not day light pictures is very dark. I have better pictures from my mobile. My advise to not by this camera.
