Blue and white pottery chocolate pot by George Jones

White and blue chocolate pot with lid (integrated spout), by George Jones and Sons with backstamp stating 'Abbey 1790'. Measurements 6 inches tall x 3 1/2" diameter base x 3" diameter across top (1 pint capacity).
Believed to be part of the 'Shredded wheat offer' in 1930's. No obvious chips, discolouration or cracked glaze and complete with lid. Remember this being part of grandparents collection of blue and white pottery proudly displayed above the cast iron range. Read more
