Overall this is a brilliant device, it has almost rendered my laptop useless but at the moment this device doesn't do photoshop editing to well not even with the new photoshop app available. But everything else, magazine subscriptions, music, movies, email and social media. I easily get a whole days use out of it, constantly on! It seems better to set the screen brightness as opposed to leaving it as automatic. I have managed to tether it with my Nikon D300s SLR Camera which is brilliant with it's larger screen. However there are a few bugs in it, some apps force exit but not sure if its the app or OS
After much research, regarding Tablets, over many months, I plump't for this tablet rather than any other, because it gave me the best options, overall. Cost being a big factor, without giving away reliability, battery life, apps, off which there are thousands, via Samsung or Google, many being free to download & having long-term usability. Sat Nav is very useful, driving, walking or otherwise. Emails are easily accessed, Facebook, Twitter, Picasa for the photos you take on this Tablet, even editing them. When you sync it with a PC, then your worlds your oyster, all we all need now is a better countrywide Wi-Fi hotspot coverage.
Absolutely fantastic tablet. Couldn't ask for more. Latest Android OS installed perfectly. I paid half normal price so no complaints at all. The iPad is slightly faster. The accelerometer & touch screen are faster & more responsive on the iPad too, having compared them side by side. If I could I'd have both :-) but for now I love the Samsung. Android has so many great apps & the Samsung has proper GPS, which the iPad doesn't. The Samsung is a seriously quality product & I'd say the best of all the tablets on the market. Did a lot of research & compared to colleagues Xooms & Blackberrys. I use the tablet for everything now. With DropBox & Evernote it has everything you could need to stay organised & connected. I don't use Faceboook or Twitter or any of that nonsense. Email, calendar, docs & contacts on one easy to use device is great. The fact you don't have to wait for it to boot means it really does get used. Wifi connectivity is fast & flawless. Don't worry about it not having USB or card ports. There's enough memory, you can transfer stuff via the 'cloud' & you really don't want USB stuff dangling off a tablet anyway. You'll find you just need the device & wifi. I really can't praise this device highly enough.Read full review
What a great product - I've been thinking about buying a Tablet for a while but couldn't justify the cost of an iPad. I saw this tablet in my local Comet & was really surprised at it's capabilities, I already use an Android phone so using the system on this tablet was fantastic & really easy to start using. Setting up gmail & email is really straight forward as is syncing social media to the tablet. I bought the wifi only version as I have no real need to take it out of the house and find I use it for pretty much everything I use my laptop for - I can even print from it by linking it to my printer via wifi. Only problem I've had was the first time I tried down loading photos but found a couple of apps that have now made this a simple action. Great battery life, fantastic display, very quick processing - basically as a first do it all tablet you'd be hard pushed to find one better in my opinion.Read full review
Brilliant does everything i expected! Its easy to use and plenty of apps good for general internet use perhaps the ipad is a little more user friendly but this makes up for it in price and features
