This performance received excellent reviews both for the ballet performance and the sets and costumes which were sumptuous and set in the period style of the late 19th Century.
The toy soldiers and mice were superb, along with the balloon.
The production is being revived for the 2019 Winter season.
The orchestral playing by the English National Ballet Philharmonic orchestra conducted by Gavin Sutherland was excellent, along with the dancing.
