The photos above are from the original programme, which has been sold, although the scans are scanned from the programme in colour.
The sets consisted for the most part of a theatre proscenium giving a card like appearance, with various interesting backdrops throughout the 57 minutes of this performance.
The props were the most interesting part of this performance with large blue bottles entitled "Drink Me", a cheshire cat, toy soldiers, knights on horses and a cake entitled "Eat me".
Each stage of the performance went through the story beginning with Alice falling through the hole.
The orchestral playing by the Royal Opera House orchestra conducted by Thomas Ades, was excellent, along with the singing with Claudia Boyle as Alice, Clare Presland as the Red Queen, Queen of Hearts, Hilary Summers as the White Queen, Sam Furness as the White King, and Peter Tantsits, Mark Stone, Joshua Bloom, Lukas Hunt, Bianca Hopkins and Eloise Hyman in the other supporting roles.
