I hadn't had an iPhone since the 4S days, but this year I bought a second-hand iPhone just for the Find My service and the tracking devices. However, since using it, I've become quite fond of it. My Android phones have increased in size over the years to the point where they almost resemble a tablet sticking out of my pocket. Works well, just the right size, Qi charging is the crunch tick for me.
As with most apple products, it works well with others from the same stable, and pretty much everything just works without fault. It's too long to be what i call compact, but it does at least fit in most of my trouser pockets. The screen is clear, sound is good, takes a decent snapshot, but their continued refusal to incorporate SD card slots is irritating and makes iPhones generally poor value. The fingerprint security works far better than on my android tablet, very reliable. Was using an old iPhone 5 for many years so to move up to an 8 has been wonderful, wish I had done it sooner. All the apps work so fast and it’s a size that is good for me. Perfect for my needs
Upgraded from an iPhone 6 to this 8 and it is much much faster. Everything happens almost immediately. The camera is a big improvement on the 6 and the battery life is improved as well although of course this depends on use. A few little tweaks on its predecessor make it an excellent phone!
The Iphone 8 is a little heavier than previous models, but is beautiful to look at and fluid to use. Very quick and responsive in all respects it is a fantastic phone. Wireless charging is a great feature that I love. Without sounding lazy, it is very easy just to pop on the pad than plug it in.
