This was a direct replacement for my HL2340 and it is just as simple to setup and use. Unbox, put the drum and toner unit in (very easy), put paper in and turn on. Connection via WIFI was a breeze with the enclosed software and I was up and printing in 5 minutes. Print quality is superb, dark and crisp. Paper handling and duplex printing is second to none and the printer is relatively quiet. This model can print at 30ppm so it is quick too. The only 'small' niggle is the default of going into Deep Sleep as default if the printer isn't used for a specified period of time. From experience, I know that, trying to print when in this state, printing would fail until the power button is pressed. Youtube shows how to turn this off via the menu and now, it just goes into normal sleep and is always available to print. I don't use many of the other features - envelope printing and other media handling etc nor Android/ Apple air but for a straight forward and easy to use printer that is simple to setup and use with a great speed - for the price point it is great value. The enclosed toner only offers 700 pages but replacement toner is inexpensive. The drum unit which lasts 12,000 pages is equally inexpensive and both are a breeze to replace. Don't hesitate to get one of these - perfect for home use or a small office/SOHO setup.Read full review

I bought this to replace a Brother mono laser printer I have had since 2014 and which finally gave up the ghost. Having got quotes from local repair centres of £50 + parts to fix it I decided to buy a new one instead. The model I had being discontinued this one seemed the closest to it. It is exactly the same size and price of my original yet does much more, such as automatic double-sided printing, built-in menu screen and has a front paper bypass. It also prints faster and with crystal sharp print. It is quieter than my original Brother printer and although it takes a completely different toner cartridge, these are very reasonably priced at about £30-35 each.

Had a Canon MG3650S for sometime as I do quite a bit of printing especially in black & white but the inks cost an arm & leg so decided to look for a Laser Printer as the Toner Cartridges are so much cheaper for the amount of printing you are supposed to be able to do with them. Currys Outlet on eBay were selling a damaged boxed Brother HLL2350DW Wireless Printer & been using it for a couple of weeks. It was quick to setup and the Wireless Technology works a treat. The printing is clear & its performance is very quick. I just hope when the Toner does eventually run out I'll be able to use a remanufactured cartridge & it won't tell me when I put it in the printer that only originals can be used. Definitely recommend on the use so far.

You must go to Brother downloads for driver site for the appropriate driver and software which is in my case is an iMac - Yosemite and above (which I neglected to do at first) I used the CUPS driver which gives all the best options of print. Using the buttons to get the correct sequence for different paper and print options will take some practice I think. I'm told by a couple of experts to buy Brother toner to avoid all kinds of hassle.

Amazing compact printer, very user-friendly easy to set up, download the drivers on your PC download an app on your phone, connect to your Wi-Fi, and it's just play and play. Good quality fast prints outs haven't had any problems with it. Highly recommend if you're looking for a simple mono printer.
