Nice to hold and easy to control but the speakers can be covered with hands, the volume isn't very strong, about the same as any other. Clear bright screen, accessories easy to purchase. The smart Swype button frees up screen space, very useful. Battery life is excellent and WiFi is fast (depending on server speed). Lot of bloatware but thankfully it supports microSD cards. I'm glad I bought it, I like it, I even bought a new Honor 8 pro to pair with it, nice phone too. I was nervous to begin with, Huawei was new to me, what bites me though is this, being brand new I was expecting Oreo android (and emui 8.1) but I'm still waiting even though Huawei says they've been marked as upgrade targets. Oreo can be installed manually but not many normal users will want to risk crashing their lovely new phones or tabs by attempting a root boot etc. We pay enough for things like these over and over again, I actually expect any new device to run it out of the box ! But that's just my opinion, who cares, certainly not Huawei. I understand the new Oreo improves things by an order of magnitude so why not have it in already ? Like buying a Ferrari but only fitting it with Nissan Micra wheels... Worth the money, glad I got it but like waiting for surprise birthday present of upgrade.Read full review

I've had this tablet for a few weeks now, and so far really enjoying it. The low cost of the tablet is probably the most impressive thing, as it doesn't really feel like a cheap tablet, and looks really nice too. The battery life so far has been great, lasts a couple of days without having to charge it, and the screen is decent too, bright enough indoors and outdoors with a good resolution. It's thin and lightweight, so very portable, and love the fact that the home button/fingerprint reader can also be used as a back and recent app button with gestures, meaning no on screen buttons (although you can enable on screen buttons if you want). The sound quality on this tablet is good, with 4 speakers, so it's loud enough. The EMUI interface is easy to use, and looks pretty good, although stock android is always better, but it does run Android 7 which is great for such a low cost tablet. It can handle a few different apps at once without slowing down, so no lagging switching between apps that I have experienced. I really would recommend this tablet.Read full review

Nicely made and easy to use, not too much bloatware. Does the job very well. SD card slot and reasonable sound mean you can use it for viewing video, listening to music and easy casting to Chromecast allows me to listen in top quality by routing FLAC files to my hi-fi and TV .

I snapped this tablet up during the sale for around £165 and can confirm it is well worth that money. It isn't the fastest tablet out there, nor does it have the sharpest screen or most intuitive launcher or the biggest memory or a good camera (but most tablets don't). There are so many of these things it isn't great are but what it does well is to be a good all rounder with one exception (great speaker). It's got a good screen to consume your Media needs, it's got a good amount of memory (3gb), good space 32gb and allows for more to be added via an SD card, it is very light and feels durable etc. On top of all the good stuff, it's got a great set of speakers (4 to be exact), which makes it one the best tablets out there for listening to sound out of the speakers. Bottom line is if you're looking for something exceptional, this isn't it but it you're looking for a good around while having wouldn't cost an arm and a leg, you can't go wrong with this.Read full review
