Love these
These are great. Bought another one. I can now turn off the lounge lights after I have gotten into bed. No more stunning toes on the coffee table. I also utilise the timer function to turn the lights on before I get home. I can also turn on the water feature in the garden via my mobile phone. Very quick and easy to set up. Handy gadget
I love things that make my life easier, have bought several of these for various tasks, lights, heaters, so many things this can connect to, I use Amazon Alexa most of the time to control the lights etc, but away from home you can use the Kasa app. Very impressed and easy to set up which is a bonus. Worth the extra pennies
Brilliant. I had one of these before but found them a bit pricey, so when I decided to buy more, I bought cheaper versions. A waste of money! The plugs were a mm too wide so pressed into the wall on/off switch....they don't turn on and off when they were programmed to. So I bought another TP-Link. Again, perfect! The setup is so so easy. The Kasa App is very easy to set up schedules and it never fails to work. I have a super cold house and need a few oil filled radiators here and there and these are perfect. I have them programmed but like today, its been colder than expected to I was able to turn the heaters on whilst I was at work. Very handy. Simple to set up, and effective
The socket is very easy to install and use via the TPLink App, and getting it to work with Google Home was much easier than I expected. Certainly a lot easier than getting my wife to allow me to use the socket for controlling anything in the kitchen. So at the moment I have a £25 socket that allows me to switch the table light in the sitting room on and off. So: I can vouch for compatibility with Google Home. Simple, reliable and versatile, but noisy and a little expensive
Great product, great design, easy to use (via app or voice assistants etc) perfect geeky present - but quite noisy, no power usage stats and somewhat expensive for what it is. TP-Link H100
This is the fifth WiFi internet adaptor I've bought and recommend them. Only problems I've had operating them is when away on holiday and using mobile internet and it's the mobile internet itself with weak signals that can stop a command getting through to the H-100. That said, its not offend that happens and as far as lights switching on and off while away that goes on day in day out automatically with it tracking the sunset times everyday. I have IP cameras at home and sometime their software will lock up and while a thousand miles from home it hard to turn the power off to the camera and forcing a restart and software reset but with the H-100 no problem, just touch my phone App to turn off, wait a few seconds then turn back on, job done. These particular adaptors are a bit expensive as there are many in the market that are cheaper but after expirimenting with a couple of these I found their Wifi connection to my router to be very reliable so have stuck with the higher prices.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

I have a couple of these now and use them with my google Assistant. I have one plugged in with the kettle and I can ask google to put the kettle on for me. Very easy to set up and when you download the Kasa app you can add as many as you like as well as light bulbs. I have used various wifi plugs over the years but this has to be the best I have ever used. Never had them disconnect from network like others do. Better than Wemo!
I held off from this device for a while because it didnt havd IFTTT support. It has it now though. The units are smaller and cheaper than Wemo sockets, and they are faster to respond and more compact. They dont seem to lose contact with the system like Wemo either. Unfortunately it’s not all good. Your router needs a password, these will not work on open systems. If you have problems with security on some networks and leave your wifi unprotected like me (I live in a very rural area - security is really not an issue) these sockets simply will not work. I had to set up a brand new password protected SSID for my network - just for these. Not satisfactory... Also, they don’t work on 5ghz networks. If this is a problem for you then again - stay away. Setting it up on the network was not as straightforward as it ought to have been. I suspect there was a conflict woth the VPN I use on my phone. However - I got it set up, and it seems to work very well so far. If the above limitations aren’t an issue - these are great!Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Tp link plug - hard to beat
Have 3 of these plugs now the last one i bought is set up 3 floors up away from the router under a bed. I was worried it wouldn't get a signal but it works perfectly.
