we live and work in a very harsh environment, we needed a camera that wouls survive the rain and dirt of a scrap yard setting so this little digi cought my eye, rain, wind, ice, dust and sh**t proof. pictures are excellent features are as good as a £200 camera and the proof of the pudding is it has survived so far being dropped and soaked. DOWN SIDES.... battery life is poor for a nicad but i might try a new battery as its refurbished and the camera dosent turn itself off when plugged into the pc which flattens the battery if you forget to unplug it, connection is also fiddley for the usb cable. On the whole i would recomend this as a vey good all rounder
Needed a tough camera for my grandson to use. This older model had some minor cosmetic marks but the using it set on auto is simple and the fact it is more likely to survive knocks and drops makes it ideal for an 8 year old who enjoys being out and about.

hi there. ihave purchased Fujifilm FinePix XP10 12.2 MP Digital Camera - Black. it works well, with fine picture quality. however, the users manual part of the cd did not open on my pc. i had to download one from internet. the chrome part where FINEPIX is written is stripping off. probably due to use at sea. i do rinse with freshwater after usage. would like to know from where to purchase its battery, and rubber parts for waterproofing servicing.
Bought camera for my daughter as she had one like it and it was stolen She took it on hiliday and had no problems with it Only problem I found I forgot to rest the image size, before she went on holiday I had to use a Jpeg resizer to reduce the size. Nice handy little camera, being waterproof adds greatly underwater photos of fish are brilliant.
Bought this camera for the water proof/cold proof features. It is water proof and stood up to being used in and around wet conditions. The picture quality is a bit hit and miss unlike my other cameras, Canon Olypus and Panasonic, how ever I would not take them any where near water. The video is quite good but if you zoom while videoing you get a horrible zoom noise so best to frame your shot first. The sound recording tends to be a bit quiet due, I presume, to the mic being sealed against water ingress.
