Noisier and slower than the HP printer it replaced. Tricky to set up, definitely not plug and play. Print quality good and definitely good value for money. This is one of the few photo printers in this price range that uses separate colour cartridges. So you don't waste money replacing combined colour cartridges when just one colour runs out.

Printer didn't last long, perhaps 50 prints. It showed an error message and never worked again. The money spent on printer and new ink all wasted. I would not recommend a 2nd hand printer to anyone.

Good Printer. Has many facilities that I probably won't ever use, as all I need is to print and scan from my laptop. Appears quite well made, not flimsy like some cheaper inkjet printers.

The paper was twisting therefore would not go through the machine properly. I googled the problem and folded a video instruction. This entailed turning the machine over and inserting a piece of foam in the appropriate position. It works fine now!

produces excellent photo's on canon paper. fast printing, good scanning and hopefully it'll be as reliable as my other canon printer has been. ink is reasonably priced too with the separate tanks. highly recommend it.
