An excellent camera, far better than the Mk II it replaced. Then again, you do have to be aware that the previous owner may have customised it and it took me a long time to work out why the auto-focus did not function. (Hint: you can customise one of the buttons on the back to deliver the focusing before pressing the shutter button. RTFM, of course, but TFM is small print closely packed, and you tend to gravitate to the error pages rather than the custom button functions

I have 7 Canon cameras I like them all, but the 5D Mark 4 I have just purchased is fantastic. It is so fast on the focus & built like a tank. Though it does take a bit of getting used to, the menus are plentiful. Would I recommend it Yes for sure. Its a great camera I love it. I can not recommend this camera enough.

Really pleased with camera. Came the next day, in original packaging and with accessories. The quality of the images is amazing. The only thing I am disappointed in is having to buy a new telephoto lens as it doesn’t take my ef-efs sigma lens I love.

Probably the last in a line of great cameras with a lineage going back to the Canon T90 which laid out the path of camera design right up to the dawn of the mirrorless age. Whilst there has never been a perfect camera and probably never will be the 5D Mark IV is the pinnacle of 30+ years of SLR camera development from Canon. It's ergonomically almost perfect, supremely rugged and reliable with superb picture quality. While with the possible exceptions of ergonomics it may not lead the pack in any category it has risen above the sum of it's capabilities and is a truly classic camera. It can be taken anywhere in the world, in any environment and take consistently excellent pictures without fail. What more could be asked of any camera. (Just as well I have no interest whatsoever in video!)

Fantastic DSLR . sadly the last of canon's DSLRs as everything from now will be mirrorless. I bought this as an upgrade from the 5d mk III and am very happy. Picture quality is top notch. The menu options are numerous but fairly easy to come to grips with. The touch screen and quick dial buttons are a bonus making adjustments even easier. This sits along side my 7d mk II which is also fabulous. Obviously being full frame it only can have EF lenses attached (not EF-S) but if you already have some no probs. I am not ready to go mirrorless yet and cannot see why I would want to given the quality of the 5d iv.
