Good starting-point for beginners.
I bought it for a beginner Vlogger as a gift. It has great stabilization and can be used with other camcorders in a set. It has no external mic input, which is its main weakness, but as a second camera or filming with close narration this should not be too much of a restriction. The image quality is very good. For interior filming the camera needs good lighting to be at its best. Again in a budget set-up cheap halogen garage-lights can be adapted. Outdoors the camcorder is very good. Please note that the lens is not wide enough to give context in walkabout selfie footage and no wide adapter is available. However if you need a lightweight cam with easy controls, good image quality, and an excellent zoom with stabilization then this should be high on your list.

Good results and easy to use.
For a sub £200 digital camcorder, this is brilliant. Easy to use, good image and sound quality, great value for money. A great, family video camera that anyone can use. This not a pro level camera and does not have an external mic socket or an accessory shoe, but for me that does not matter as I will only be using this for YouTube videos.

Great little camera with excellent capability for beginners
The camera is ideal for my needs, it allows me to take control and ensure that it does what I require it to. I have to create a number of simple films over the coming year and this camera will enable me to do so without commiting to the expense of an expensive camera.
