Excellent little DSLR
This is a great little SLR, all – or nearly all – the features from the 500/600/700 series cameras in a very compact body. With the standard 18-55 zoom lens the size difference isn't as noticeable but teamed up with something like the 24mm STM pancake lens it really is a compact camera. Already I use it more than the 600D it replaced which frequently got left behind at home because it wasn't as compact to pack. The touchscreen wasn't a big selling point for me but I'm finding it much more useful than I thought, often it is simply quicker and more intuitive to navigate menus and changing settings via the touchscreen rather than by navigating and changing settings via the traditional manual buttons and dials.
