We bought a new TV & the HDMI slot was on the side which meant that the HDMI cable had to make a big loop to get round the back of the TV which looked unsightly, this connector did away with that problem, looks & works perfect.

Purchased this item as the previous one was the opposite hand meaning that the cable couldn't plug into it. At the price it wasn't worth returning the original one so it will sit in my spares box in case I can use it elsewhere!

So long as you get the correct right-angle, wrong one goes down and not up OR goes up and not down!, this is a must if tidying cables. Picture was 100% accurate so I got the right right-angle. Really pleased works well.
