Fantastic Camera! Great travel camera. Packed with great features, easy to take great photos.

This is a fantastic camera, packed with some great features, too many to list! The 25-600mm zoom is extremely versatile, great for wildlife photos. Shoots great quality video and still photos are very good too. Comfortable to hold, it's relatively compact and sits nicely in your hand. I can strongly recommend this camera to anyone, it's a great for beginners wanting to explore photography and also has enough advanced features to keep enthusiasts happy. It makes a great travel camera, much easier to carry than lugging around my DSLR and heavy, expensive lenses.

    Goid second hand bye

Still learning where all the functions are not sure they are laid out very logically. Pictures are good focus is fast. The WiFi seems a bit flaky. But the best thing is an effective focal range of 600 mm at F 2.8 .

  • Lightweight with great features, including huge focal range.

This camera has great range with a good macro facility and telephoto length. I use it for nature photography. The special macro feature (in addition to ordinary macro mode) works by using the lens at wide angle and sampling the image, going up to 75mm. The telephoto is great with digital extension, and wide aperture, and have taken some great bird photos at long distance. I preferred a lightweight bridge camera rather than a heavy camera and lenses. It took a while to get used to all its features and set up to how I like it, but is a great successor to my FZ-50.

  • Great underrated camera

Great camera with excellent specifications in a small and light size. Having read the instructions it was simple to set up, use and take great photos. Not sure about having the lens cap attached to the body with a string, can get in the way of the lens at wide angle. The zoom lens range is great and it is really easy to take excellent close up photos. Settings are easy to change when you need to but that doesn't seem often so far. Would recommend after a week's ownership.

  • A much better camera than you would expect from it's spec.

I compared test shots from this camera against similar ones taken with a Panasonic micro four thirds with 280mm equivalent telephoto, a TZ 70 and a Canon G7x mk2. Surprisingly, with the images viewed side by side and adjusted to similar magnifications and so that I was judging without knowing which photo was from which camera, I found that the FZ330 shots iwere invariably the best. I did not expect this at all, given the 330's relatively low 12mp and size of sensor. in poorer than the normal daylight I used, some of that would perhaps have changed. Anyway, this very rough comparison convinced me that the 330 really is very good for ease of use and good results in reasonable daylight. This is probably down to it having an exceptionally good lense. I am no longer inclined to think about getting a1 inch sensor but very bulky and expensive bridge.

  • Superb buy second hand

Panasonic launched a winning combination with this replacement for the FZ200 It has the same 24X zoom (25-600mm) capability as its predecessor and retains a wide 2.8 max aperture throughout this range. The processing engine has been updated and this combined with a Leica lens, perfectly matched with a 12.1 megapixel sensor, gives superbly sharp photos that easily rival those of more expensive cameras. I have directly compared this camera with a Nikon Coolpix P900 and much prefer this camera as an everyday carry, gaining better results for zoom macro wildlife shots. Now I only take the Nikon (and a tripod), when I know i will need the longer zoom. The addition of a roller for manual focusing is a real bonus over the old FZ200, as is the improved high ISO noise reduction and overall speed of operation. Thinking of buying an FZ200 ? Spend the extra and buy a good, used, FZ300/330 instead !

  • Great all rounder!

It's a well thought out bridge camera with a generous zoom range. Image quality is more than good enough for the average photographer, especially considering the small sensor size. Lots of features, good video performance and with an adequate amount of weather sealing. All in all if you want an all in one camera with a good zoom range then I can recommend it.

  • FZ330

Had the camera for a couple of months, really pleased with it, I did a lot of research before I decided on it. Lots of features and I feel I've only scratched the surface of what it's capable of. But it is easy to use in the auto modes and decent photos can be achieved very quickly.

  • Don’t let the specs fool you

I wasn’t expecting much from a 12mp bridge camera with a small sensor, but how wrong was I, The image quality is brilliant, I’ve owned many bridge cameras and this is by far my favourite, the auto focus is So fast and accurate, low light performance is great compared to many other bridge cameras I’ve owned, battery life is good, build quality is good, it’s also weather and dust sealed which was one of the main Reasons I got this camera as I do a lot of landscape and wildlife photography, The constant f2.8 lens is fantastic for being able to isolate a subject at full zoom, I would highly recommend this camera Over any other bridge camera,

  • Great all-rounder

I use some very professional camera kit and bought this for my daughter to teach photography. I was so impressed with the wide range of features like f2.8 lens, 4k video and 4k photo, post focusing etc etc. We now take this out the house for just about every trip. Pros- size, 4k photo, post focusing, touch screen, weather sealed, superb lens, image quality Cons - a little deficient in low light, focusing is a little slow but not limiting I would definitely recommend this.
