I have given this blackboard five stars because it is not fair to compare it with ones that are heavyweight and cost two to three times the price. It might not last a lifetime but will last a long time, given proper care. It is, of course, a drawing board but I see the need to build it as a good opportunity to engage the child in its construction. All in all, a good purchase.

the product doesen't cost much, the postage is much more expensive, but the material is very cheap and when assemble it the plastic screws half of them broken while assemble and also on the picture the wood looks nice and sprayed but it's not sprayed and it's just common wood, so decided not to use it and bought another one better in quality'

It’s very unstable, every time my son wants to switch from whiteboard to blackboard I need to unscrew a couple of screws, carefully move the board and screw them back in at the other side, and the point at which the two stands meet don’t align. My toddlers two so it’s not a massive deal, I’ve ended up just taking it off the stand and leaning it against the wall instead. But you get what you pay for.

Bought for my 2 year old. The height is a little low. I.e he has to bend a bit but this isn't a negative point as i think if it was higher then a lot of toddler might have difficulty using it The construction is light but surprisingly still holds up well (it hasn't fallen apart) and has a thoughtful design. Note you have to use the easy plastic screws to pick between the white board and blackboard surface. The black board itself wipes well and so far after 2 weeks of daily use we are enjoying it. I haven't tried very many black boards/ easels but for the price I paid I wasn't expecting much this gets 5 stars based on the value

Very poor quality. For £15 i was not expecting huge quality, but it was like the box was loaded with pieces of timber and board and hoped for the best. The white board (and a secon with timbers that do not go around it) split in two and the timber frame disintergrated on touch. I would not recommend this product its easier to build your own and i have since seen a simular/slightly cheaper product at Ikea. Enjoy my £15.....what a waste. I hope others do not suffer the same fate.
