I bought this camera in order to have a small but excellent tool to carry around. It's lightweight, can be carried in a pocket and the quality of the pictures is very good. Of course not the camera a pro would buy, but if you want to take decent pictures of your holidays, this is a good choice and value for money (although I bought a used one, new is a little more pricey). It has a number of useful "helpers", like the face recognition, but it's pretty intuitive. Also, a bigger memory card is easy to buy and at a reasonable price.
lovely camera , but because i have had sony cyber before i do see the different between the cameras and fujifilm finepix z35 is not one of the best but good camera (especialy for the price i have paid lol )
Bought for my teenage daughters birthday. She loves the colour, its very compact so she pops it in whichever handbag shes using, and most important of all,it takes fantastic photos. I reviewed this camera online before purchasing and this model was a favourite with teen girls , so I bought it :)
I had previously bought a camera the same as this for my daughter but my puppy ate if and cracked the screen and chewed the memory card to pieces. I bought another from ebay and she lost that one. This is the third one I have purchased and all the same because the I love the size, colour and quality of the pictures for my teenage daughter, this is ideal. Let's hope she doesn't lose this one!
I bought this camera because of its fixed lens. With other cameras where the lens comes out, they *always* fail after a while, with "lens errors" and the lens jammed. This one is much more reliable and for an everyday camera for photos while you're out and about, images to use on a computer, etc., it's perfect. It's got a delay timer so if you need a self portrait you don't have to do that pathetic thing of holding the camera yourself. I paid 55 pounds secondhand (and a fiver for a 2BG card) and it's worth every penny.
