I use it every day!
I've been using one of these meters for several years and it is still working. It is accurate and fairly trouble free. Sometimes the little spinner inside gets stuck because I use it to pour fertilizer with some particles in it. This is easily remedied by using a paperclip to remove the debris. For pouring straight water, it never gives me any trouble. Mostly, I use it to manually water or fertilize plants, but it also comes in handy to measure gallons/hour on any sprinkler or other watering device. good for lawn watering
This gallon meter works well and is handy for use with lawn watering. However, I purchased it for use with a water feature that I wanted to keep an eye on in terms of water use. The water feature has a float valve on it that lets water in as needed. Unfortunately, the water flow is too low for this meter to register. Great Little Meter
It sure is nice knowing how much water you're using in advance of the bill. The 1.2 gal. per flush toilet reads exactly 1.2. Seems to be extremely accurate, and the cumulative readout is a nice feature, too. Easily resettable + battery saver feature makes this a must have. Also doesn't restrict water flow at all. great little meter
the good: very handy , accurate, and inexpensive. I use it to track water usage in my cattle tank. the bad: don't use with a shut off nozzle at the other end. the back pressure caused mine to blow apart. a little super glue to put it back together, and it works just fine measuring free flowing water. knowing now it's limitations, these meters are a bargain at this price.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

In-line water meter
We full-time RV and this controls the amount of water input in the tanks. Before I would guess by the time how much water was in the tanks. This gives a good indication of the water stored when we travel. I have used it for several months to insure it would stand up to the weather. It has withstood rain and still keeps working. A must have for pool owners.
This is simply exactly what it claims to be; a digital water use meter that fits hose bibbs. I used a 5 gallon bucket to check accuracy, it seems accurate. This is a handy device for measuring the amount of water to fill a pool. The only downside is that it has a maximum reading of 999 gallons before resetting back to zero. Fantastic value
I needed a flowmeter for basically a one-time use to test a newly installed intercooler system in an automotive application. So I didn't want to make a big investment of money or time to install a permanent measurement system. This unit came at the right price, and it was very easy to insert inline, temporarily replacing a short section of my system. I did purchase male and female 3/4 hose barb connectors to go with it on either end, making it possible to splice right in to my 3/4 hose installation. This model good but take special note on location/usage
I had two of the P0550 water meters. Both I liked but the first one I placed too close to chlorine source and in the hot sun. Bad combination. I suggest you instead place it in the shade below the facet pointing downward. The first one corroded the circuit board by laying it flat on the cement used on a pool automatic water filling float. The float not important but it was near chorine tablets. The sun fogged the viewing glass, eventually the moisture wrecked the board. My second one is now placed in the shade below the facet. Easier to use anyway. I am using it measure how much water loss in the pool. Also gardening watering needed. You can take the meter apart. Inside where the battery is stored, two plastic tabs can be unsnapped to separate it. I of course beat the snot out of it to find out. Thus the purchase of a second one.
