4 GB is a very good amount of memory for "Play Lists" . I keep my 4 GB iPod's for "Folk" ... Leonard Cohen , Janice Ian , Joni Mitchell , Teddy Thompson , McRae etc. and "Classical" ..various composers . It is also the right size for compilation albums .
