When you turn the metronome on it defaults to a tempo of 120 beats per minute, 4 beats per measure and quarter note rhythm. You can reset all these parameters to a wide range of setting to cover what ever type of music you want play, great. Or at least it would be if it did what it claims to on the box and saved the current tempo, beat and rhythm you selected when turned off. Unfortunately it doesn't so when you turn it back on it has reverted to its default setting. Bummer if you want to continue practicing the same piece of music. There is a button to dim the LCD display so you would think you could just leave it on but you will only do this once because next morning you will find it has completely used up the battery. There is a socket to connect it to a 9v AC/DC power supply but it does not come with one and as yet I have been unable to fine one with a compatible plug for the socket. Add to this that volume control and on/off switch are incredibly small, making them difficult to use and my advice has to be look else where.Read full review
