once its together its very good, getting to that happy stae is not quite as easy as indicated. then mounting on the wall: well dont think you can just hang it without some work and thought. two blocks of wood and two clamps to hold it steady at the bottom while you reel in otherwise it will not work, i used 2 20mm conduit clips then its great. Blocks are about 2 & 3 inches to let reel run freely off the wall. Sixty metres of hose fits superbly though.

Bought three (3). They all have some design defects caused by the original plastic moulds that cause parts to break - but break can be fixed with some care. Don't think the plastic is polypro - looks more like polyethylene, or if it is polypro is possibly a regrind so low quality, more brittle. That being said the seller (distributor) helped me out really well to get things sorted.

I thought this was a bargain, and the plastic feels like the hoselock equivalemt, so I thought it would be good value. A small piece broke off when trying to assemble it (no big deal I thought), but the "push fit" metal legs with tiny plastic retainers looked a bit flimsey. The killer blow came after I had transfered my hose to the reel (carefully laying it so it wound on flat), and used it for the first time; when winding the hose back using the handle (a little less carefully than the installation), and the handle snapped clean off. No sign of a flaw in the plastic leading to a specific weakness, just weak plastic. In my opinion, not up to the job. For a very short hose, it might be up to the job, so might be a bargain, but not worth the risk quite frankly.

It says on the advert "Wall mountable" I don't think that the brackets are suitable for a hosepipe (30mtrs) and a reel to hold it to the wall. They are NOT strong enough. Also for someone with arthritic hands it is very difficult to get the reel to hold together.Very disappointed it the reel and quality.

Cheap and not very well designed, it shown on pictures as being mounted on a wall. But in real life the reel will rub against the wall if mounted as show. Looking on the box it said in very small print.... Please note this product may vary slightly than illustrated. When I try and wind the hose up the handle keeps coming off in my hand. I wouldn't recommend, but saying that....it's cheap and may suit some people.
