This cover is not the cover of old. I have been buying kettle covers sense the late 80's, and this cover is the best yet. The cover is a light weight canvas like material,not the really thick vinyl cover of yesteryear. Not sure how well it will protect grill exposed to the elements. I'm using the cover is under a roofed area and the cover is perfect. Just wanted to keep dust, pollen, etc. off the grill. This cover is well worth the money to help prolong the life of my kettle. It is a very nice cover and comes with a storage bag of the same material. If you are a serious weber owner like me this cover is a must.

This product is a real Weber charcoal Grill Cover and fits the way it should as protection from the sun and rain. A slight negative is that the cover bag is sewn to the main cover and can't be separated unless the strap cut with a scissor. The cover bag lays down on the cement and is a potential house for mice and crawling bugs. Weber should make the bag cover detachable by using a Velcro. I own a charcoal kettle grill that I've been cooking BBQ, chicken, and turkey and been with me for over 34 years and the cover protects it from the weather element.
