Easy to use
As claimed, this mobile seems very easy to use with built-in features which explain how to carry out many tasks, which I frequently forget. Battery life seems at least as good, if not better than, my previous Moto E.. I have not found that the hearing aid compatibility function works very effectively with my hearing aids (bog-standard NHS) but the available volume is more than adequate to allow me to hear well with my level of hearing disability. Excellent product for lighter usage and simple to use.
This product was bought for an older person (me). As an ipad user, I find this product is easy to use and meets all my requirements, having spent a lot of time researching a replacement for my old mobile phone which gave up working after 20 + years. I am able to use a classic pay as you go sim with no strings attached as I am a very light user. Only the short battery life lets it down.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

great present for my mother
My mother is 89 and quite good on computers for her age she has a hudle and a PC but does get confused sometimes. This is her first smart phone. Firstly can i say that the phone itself was great value is was as new with all accessories supplied. I did the setup at home for her putting the phone on a 3 pay as you go sim. To date she has got on very well with it although i did have to print off a 90 page manual to help her. Technically the phone runs andriod lollypop, and Doro have customised it to make the user interface easier (more intuitive) for elderly folks. the Doro software is very simple but lacks some features ie in email you cannot save an email to a folder. My mother has now got used to using the Gmail app for this reason. Doro care and connect which allows remote access does freeze for some reason when you access it via remote control, but is good for locating easily. overall a great purchase which my mother loves.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Underestimated android mobile phone
This is a great mobile phone to have for many reasons. 1) It functions and features are easy to find and operate. 2) The software/ apps already installed still leave plenty of space for your own downloads and apps. 3) The ringer volume and speech volume can be turned up for those hard of hearing (like me) 4) Has its own docking station so you can easily recharge at night. The phone then acts as a clock which is easy to see. 5) You have the option to speak texts or emails. This is a great feature as it save so much time. 6) It may not look the smartest phone on the market, but with shopping around for a good deal and its basic functions I would rate it 10/10Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Simple and easy to use
I bought this for my 65 yr old dad. This is his first smart phone (he's not the most technical minded person) but he's got to grips with the phone no problem! It doesn't come with a manual but the easy set up questions when you turn on the phone made it so easy for him to use. Good phone
This phone is ideal for the first time smartphone user. It's straightforward with setup information every step of the way, big touch screen icons for larger fingers. Easy access to internet and phone functions and quick to move from one action to another. Smart Phone for Newbies
Need to replace/update your phone and a little nervous about smart phone technology, then this is the phone for you. Simple access to the really essential features, but has some special features (such as emergency button which be programmed to call family members/friends). I particularly like the docking station, which keeps the phone charged and provides an attractive bedside alarm clock/phone. I would have liked to be able to purchase another docking station for use in the car, but glued a Velcro strip on to the base and matching Velcro hook strip on the car fascia and just transfer the whole set up to the car.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Good phone with great sound for my hearing...mil-technologies answered a question quickly!
Four stars because nothing is perfect. This is the first smart phone that I get along with. I am 63 years of age. Some areas of smart tech still annoy me but thats a personal thing. I do like the physical buttons on this Doro and the explanations as I go along. I also use it for the GPS which seems fine wehn on the hills in plane mode and using the OS mapping app.. The sound is great for my hearing and for that alone I will continue using this phone. This is an excellent smartphone which guides your through all its different functions - no longer do I need to ask for my grandsons help when wishing to change something. It is compact and light so doesn't feel as if it is dragging your pockets down. The only negative in relation to accessories is that I have yet to find a good fitting cover - the ones advertised specifically for the 8030 are all too small for the dimensions of this phone.
