This filter works well in my 1500 gal pond. Helps keep it clear and the moss down to a minimum. This my second filter, since it didn't properly drain the water of my filter last fall and the winter freeze broke some of the internal parts. My bad! I agree with some other reviews, that the instructions are difficult to interpret so I"m not 100% I'm using the right kind of pump to run it. It was still fairly easy to set up and run, so I like it and recommend it.

So far it is OK. Have not had it long enough to see how robust it is. Had a similar product last year but could not get any info on the manufacturer. Was totally unhappy due to it developing ,micro cracks in the cover after about three months (water would seep out when canister under pressure). Guy who built my pond refuses to return my calls. This seems to be almost an identical filter to the previous one I had. I'll wait to see how well it holds up over time.

Does the job and cleans the pond water nicely. I found the owner's manual to be a bit confusing, and it took me a while to realize that the pump is not integrated into the filter, but rather a separate unit that gets placed into the pond water. This equals additional expense, but overall a good quality filter at a reasonable cost.

I'm happily surprised with this filter. It cleared up the green water in my pond in only 5 days. To be clear, it's the UV light that did the work. It kills off the suspended algae, which then clumps together and is eventually caught in the filter pads. I'm using a small 800 GPH pump with it, which might help, since the slower the water flow, the longer the algae is exposed to the UV light and the more likely it is to die. The manual isn't that great. It appears to be detailed at first, but once you read through it, it becomes apparent that it is missing some key points of information. I suggest you spend some time reading the manual and also taking apart the filter and pads, when you first get it, to familiarize yourself with everything. There's a bit of a learning curve in removing and replacing the filter pads. The back flush cleaning method doesn't work all that great. I really suggest removing the pads every now and then to really clean them. Anyway, for the price... this is a great UV pressure filter.Read full review

My pond was always dingy and I spent lots of money on chemicals to clear it up and nothing helped . All it done was my it stink and slimy and even killed some of my koi . Then I found this filter and it’s wonderful clear pond in less than 24 hours and it’s very easy to clean . I couldn’t do without this filter ever again
