Exactly what I wanted. For bulbs and plants its easy to use with good soil ejection. Used in rather wet ground with little build-up of soil on the planter itself. Works well.

Surprised how well it worked
Actually bought this to plant plugs in the borders as I needed a decent hole to add compost first. Maybe it's my soil but it took a decent plug of soil out & held it until I squeezed softly & released the soil around the plant
