Mower Belt Performance
Purchased new Belts{2}, put one on mower, got one cut, and belt shredded and broke. Not sure if belt was dry rotted, or, just old. Got only one cutting from new belt. New spindles were installed before new belts were put on.

DO NOT BUY!
This item is bad, bought two so I would have a spare and thought it was a good deal. Put one on to replace the broken one. When the mowing was started the belt started smoking like it was on fire. Had to go to John Deere to buy a new belt. installed it and the mower worked fine. Do not buy these belts.
