I wanted to try an alternative to Windows and have liked Android on tablets but found tablets not entirely to my liking. I thought used would be a good way to go in case I was not happy and felt I wasted my money plus Chromebook seems inexpensive compared to Apple products. I paid slightly over the top by about £20 at £100 for this one but it is in good clean used condition and I like the gold colour. I was not disappointed. So far it has exceeded my expectations. I can see obviously that I will need to keep using Windows 10 because the Chromebook has limitations though to be fair I am still exploring its full potential. Even when using Windows my browser of choice is Google and using Google means I have compatibility with other kit. I was surprised at how fast the Chromebook is even though it is some years old but I have to admit it is a little slower than I am used to. Battery life is phenomenal - I have a regular Acer W10 laptop which is newish and in fairness the Chromebook is as quick if not quicker. I would have liked more USB ports as I have only the two but that is because I wanted an inexpensive introduction to Chromebooks. I would say that using a Chromebook is fine as long as you appreciate its place in the internet world. Overall I am well impressed.Read full review
