This is my first time with an apple laptop Cons 1) the sound quality is just about average 2) the product is highly priced, twice or thrice the price of a better spec'd windows machine 3) the fan at full blasts makes sound like a jet engine 4) i am surprised to say this, but i actually like the windows experience better compared to mac os. some things are pretty bad with the mac (eg: window management, bas split view, windows keep jumping from one workspace to another, files dont open sometimes on click, they dont exit immediately on pressing quit,etc) Pros 1) the keyboard is a joy to type on 2) the screen is simply amazing 3) the force touch trackpad is a good experience, but i never liked trackpads so using my mx master with it

Yes, we all love our Macbooks, but we don't need retina screens. Apple asked me for £600 to replace a cracked screen (which cracked on its own, with no input from myself.) Apart from that, and the dodgy battery, I love my Macbook too.

Have been using the mac for a couple of days now and it all seems to be going great, had to move all the content from my work mac to it and everything was very smooth on the transfer, I did however factory reset it beforehand as I forgot to request this before being dispatched as it is a server they offer, I would definitely be returning if I need anything else like this mac.
