These are pets not for roasting! we took the whole batch from our seller as the others we weren't going to take they were going to be given to a friend of theirs to cook which i couldn't allow as they weren't the right quail for them having purchased eggs online and hatched themraisin our smallest has the funniest call, currently enjoying lots of cuddles and attention falling asleep on the sofa with myself and the dog, having lots of extra fuss as recovering from an injured head either from fighting or hitting the roof in the cagethe girls we are keeping but to give an idea of age the girls only just started laying just over a week agowe also have two other brown quail and salt our english bob white needing loving homesour new batch of quail we recently bought unsexed, turned out heavily male quail, up for rehoming as running out of space separating them individually as they are starting to fight, they are handled daily as a pet and very loved but were looking for more girls to join our existing males
