These pups sounded sweet in both my 81 tokai 335 and my 93 obg and really nice with some gainif you look closely you will notice that the bridge has one bobbin cover marked with the normal t and the other bobbin cover is not marked and is what you would be more likely to see on a pafdate stamped jun and pat no engraved in themonly selling as i have a pair of hausells now which suit me morefrom what i have read this is something that happened quite a lot where leftover parts from previous pickup runs were mixed in with the new runsneck measures 7:43 and bridge is cm of braided cable on the neck, but only 16cm on the bridgea pair of "t" top humbuckers that i have owned and used for around 15+ years

Fantastic sound from quality parts the squire silver series were made to counter quality strat copies that were appearing at the time,particularly tokai and fenix strats,these made in japan strats are completely different to the cheaper korean made squire of the time,they have solid alder bodies and far superior pickups and hardware,(i have the original pickups,scratchplate and pots) cracking guitar with £350 worth of mods that were carried out in marchheavily modded with licensed floyd rose trem and locking nut,custom humbucker pickups,gotoh m/c heads,250k volume/tone pots,custom 3 way switchthe body has a couple of paint chips and scratches but otherwise its in fine fettle for a 26 year old guitar,that will only appreciate in value as these leftys are quite raresale also includes a quality hard caseit has always been my back up guitar to be so hasnt been played to death so frets and fingerboard are practically as newvintage circa fender squire silver series (owned from new by myself),made in japan

I believe tokai made these under the name, rockinbetterthis is left-handed and as a guitar, solid with straight neck and great frets! it also has genuine ricky pickups on, a £100 each, genuine scratchplate and knobsthis guitar is a 330 styleit sounds excellent as you'd expect with genuine pickups and rolling the rythym volume down 3, with knob central, will give you that classic 60's soundthanks for looking read morethe action is super low, it stays in tune and i've used it professionally when on long-haul gigs abroadbuyer needs to pickup from rotherham and i will accept paypal or cash on collection - although i will have to inspect cash thoroughly firstit comes in a hard case

I'd consider an exchange with a strat or tele which has the earlier radius board; a higher range tokai or a fender 'classic player ' for exampleit's an hss configuration - looks lovely -and i will include the abs case which also in excellent conditionthis limited edition 'golden sister' is in very good condition - just a couple of very small edge marksunfortunately for me, it's got a flatter modern fretboard and i prefer the 60's/70's profile
