Hi this is bear i've taken him in for a neighbor as she got him a few days ago with out doing the research on the breed i believe he's border collie cross huntaway he's 10 months old fully vaccinated and microchipped he's fully house trained knows basic commands such as sit lie down and gives both paws he's cat friendly also and gd with dogs but gets very excited when he first sees them he also loves watching tv he's such a loving boy he would benefit from a home that's very active or could possibly do agility or fly ball with him i would keep him my self but i already have 2 dogs and a 3rd child on the way this boy deserves the best and he's also gd with children and he's been neutered

The reason i’m rehoming him is i’m currently pregnant and as he is quite large and isn’t the greatest fan of children it’s the only option i have, he’s a very happy energetic dog, he’s crate trained, is generally good with letting you know he needs the toilet by going to the back door, he knows basic commands like sit, stay, paw and lie downhe’s very strong and does have the tendency to pull so he’ll have to go to someone who will be able to control him and give him plenty of exercisethis is a very hard thing for me to do as i love him very muchi’d prefer for him to go to someone with a lot of time as he doesn’t like being left alone for long periods of time as it makes him sad and nervoushe gets very jealous when the attention isn’t on him so he would have to be the only animal in the house and i don’t recommend him around children under the age of 101 year old american bulldog x boxer malehe isn’t vicious towards other animals on walks he just likes to have full attention at homehe has good recall off the lead but he can get distracted if there’s dogs near himonly serious enquiries please

He is fully house trained,neutered and knows basic commandshe likes to follow you to the toilet and wait outside! he has always slept downstairs and has not been used to getting on the furniture simply because there’s not enough seating space for the humans but as long as he’s at your feet in the evenings he’s happy with thathe does need someone at home with him for all or most of the day although after a long walk or a good run with a ball he could probably be left for a few hourshe can be nervous around other dogs but is submissive and he is nervous around all men at first,i don’t know why because he has been in our family with an older son and my partner but he has always been like thisunfortunately due to some new health problems i am finding it too much of a struggle to get out and walk himthis is a very difficult decision and one i have been trying to come to terms with for a whileyou would need to understand he’s not just going to walk in your house and settle straight away,he will need reassurance as he’s not an overly confident alpha male type dog but he will bring lots of affection with him with the right care and attentionhe has been brought up in a family environment with children age 5 upwardshe’s up to date with flea/worming treatment and vaccinations and is microchippedhe is a timid boy who likes lots of attention and typical to the breed can be very needyhe has been brought up with his older sister and has socialised with my mums jrt who is also very placidhe loves to chase a ball on walks and is fed at a regular time each day and has no food aggressionhe loves people and cuddleshe does need walking at least once preferably twice a dayi would need him to go to the right person/people that would want him for the right reasons
