Very timid birds in their nature, they tend to jump and fly upwards when spooked, this has resulted in one getting a cut on the top of her head which has scabbed over now but is visible until the feathers there grow backquails aren’t very loud, but from the other side of the bedroom he is loud enough! they are too timid animals for my liking, the cage i have is meshed on top, and with them jumping up and down often i’m worried about their headsall in full health and on quail growers pelletsmy reason for selling them is because they don’t suit my lifestyle, i can’t currently keep them outside and the male is waking me up throughout the nightbutton quail can live outside as long as it doesn’t reach -5 degrees f or lowerthey usually start to lay around a few months oldthe female with the black beak is a bit older than the other two, i don’t know their ages but they’re not quite old enough to lay eggs yet

He occasionally does bark at bigger dogs though ! we've worked with the trainers dogs at puppy class ! he's great with my daughter and her friends, toby is quite a timid little sausage but has lots of energy, he loves to play but also likes his down time too, he likes to be with people and just loves to snuggle, he needs someone with patience and time to spend with himusually the couch during the day ! housetraining is a working process, some days he's perfect does everything outside, others he just seems to do what he wants ! we're currently having one to one puppy training sessions to help with the walking as sometimes he is timid with and on his harness and reluctant to walk,he seems happier when there's 2 people walking with him ? when we've passed other dogs on the street he's been fine, he sometimes stops until they've passed but no barkinghe is a shaded red miniature dachshundsleeps in his bed upstairs at nightthis is a very reluctant re-home as we love toby very muchthis has been so sad to type:-(he's currently eating puppy kibble from the sausage dog sanctuary, he loves it along with chickenif anyone can give toby a loving home please contact me thank you read morethis is toby, born in february this yearunfortunately he is looking for a new home due to my daughter having allergiesi am happy for all of tobys belongings eg beds, steps, personalised blankets and favourite things to leave with toby, as i will have no use for themhe is upto date with jabs, flead and wormed, next due at vet in october as he's on the puppy plan
