Years old thoroughbred geldingto handle you canāt fault him, my 3 year old can lead him, he is not a typical flighty/spooky thoroughbredwe bought this boy as a first horse for new male rider, we have put a lot in to him but sadly recently discovered he has arthritis in his lumbarwe had xrays taken and vet medicated with steroids upon diagnosis but taking this in to account, we feel it is unfair for him to be ridden by his owner due to weight and balance so he has been out of work sincehe really is incredibly easy to dowhen we bought him we were told he windsucks after feed, we found it to be stress related and when he realised he didnāt have to worry about if/when food was coming he stopped windsucking in the field but this is of course something to bare in mindhome is the most important factorfor sale as a happy hacker for a lightweight rider or companionhe will load himself and travels perfectly alone or in companyhe preferred to live out as opposed to being stabled at previous livery yardhe is the easiest to keep, not a typical tb that struggles in winter so is also an ideal companion although the vet did state there is no reason he couldnāt workvideos of him ridden earlier this year are available and of course viewings very welcomegood to catch, will stand perfectly alone for farrier, great to tie up and groomwe bought him as a suitable novice ride, he is in no way nasty-you can lead children on him, excellent in traffic, does not buck rear or bolt but if alone he does occasionally need a bit of reassurance, he is a truly honest horse that will absolutely try his hardest for youhe is on no medication or supplements

Despite his age he is a strong thoroughbred and needs a firm confident rider to continue with himthis is an absolutely heartbreaking decision but through absolute no fault of his own this beautiful year old gelding is looking for his next loving homei want to be as honest as possible about him therefore i want to make clear he is not a novice ridehe will come with his recently re-fitted saddle, bridle and 2 sets of rugshe is up to date with all jabs, teeth, farrier and sheath cleaneri am available throughout the week and next weekend for viewings but as said we want to make sure he goes to a loving home so no dealers need enquirehe is broken to ride and has been doing walk and trotting school work in the last 11 months which he has taken to brilliantlywe have been hacking both alone and in small and large groups, each time he is great and looks after his riderhe is shod on both fronts and is regularly wormedwe have not found anything that spooks him, he hacks on the road with traffic and heās on a busy yard with loud machinery and dogsour young children will walk him in with us, feed him and brush him and is especially gentle when they are aroundhe is a dream on the ground, great for the farrier and dentist (even the sheath cleaner) and is very affectionatehe is an ex-racer although he wasnāt very successful so has been off the track for 10+ yearshe hadnāt been worked for some time before i bought him therefore i have bought him back into light work however he has a way to go and would suit someone who is confident and wanting to bring something on morehe is an amazing boy and he will not be going to just anyone, i want him to go to a loving home who will have fun with him and love him like we havehe occasionally wanders from the mounting block however with perseverance he is great to mounthe has beautiful stable manners and loves to be groomed
