This is made by a traditional family based rocking horse company which was based in nelsona beautiful british rocking horse made bespoke for me as a child 23 years agodimensions from floor to top of ear is cm from base front to back is 152cm this is beautifully hand made and still in great condition, made by the victorian rocking horse company this is suitable for children 2 years to 12 years only has usage wear and tearperfect for christmas!!!! read moreopen to offers and for viewing

Extra carved medium size georgian bow rocking horse circathis rocking horse has been in our family since and it is has been loved by 2 generations of children in that timetraces of georgian ochre gesso base were discovered under some late victorian restoration worksthe bow itself was returned to its original green colour, having been blue from the victorian periodthis is a very sad sale but necessary as we do not now have the space for it and would love for it to be cherished and used by further generationsthe indoor photographs were taken very recently and it remains in a similar condition to when it was restoredit was professionally restored in and the outdoor photographs were taken at that timedimensions: seat height 31" overall height 42" maximum width 19" length 78" collection in person is preferred but may be prepared to deliver within 200 miles radius from liverpool for fuel costsduring restoration quite a lot of its history came to light as it was stripped back (as shown in the photographs)
