I am told that it was made in the s, the usual wear and tear, but it is in very good shapethe tone is quite a low baroque i am toldboth say that this will happily play as an intermediate instrument and it is in good shapeit plays powerfully with a very bright ringthey said that it will need new strings soon, but the current ones will serve for a bit longerthe luthiers took the bridge down when i took it ini'm not a violinist so i don't know much, but i've taken this down to a luthier and it's been examined by two of themit comes with a bow and a nice newish case
