This machine was bought new some years ago and used for around 6 months to record some demos at home, then was put away, spent most of its life under a cover in the spare room, until recently when i started to use it again i discovered that the r/p audio cards had all failed due to capacitors leaking on to the boards,{seems to be common in these machines} thus resulting in a major recapping of all 24 audio cards some 33 in each card all replaced, an expensive repair! the unit now functions as it should and sounds great, in fact it has seen less than 100 hours use in its life time, hence in vgc it also comes with the rare time code card installed which was an optional extra at the time, all functions working, front autolocater can be set at different anglesfostex g24s 24 track multitrack recorder, beautiful machine, one inch tape formatunit weighs around 35 kgs so would advise you come and collect read more
