This dryer works the same now as the day it was bought and has worked trouble-freethe photo shows the dryer and i do actually have the piece that goes at the bottom to cover the draining compartmentthis hoover 'performa family' tumble dryer has been a real workhorse when it came to drying the washing in our family of eightas long as something is prevenitng the door from opening the tumble dryer will work but it is a lot better to get someone to replace the catch and the machine will work as it shouldthe only 'catch' - and that's literally what the problem is! - is that the catch on the door needs replacing, and i simply haven't had time to deal with itas you can see from the otheer photo the machine is looking great insideit was bought for 350 at the time but in light of it being unecological and the repair that needs doing (albeit a very small repair) i am letting this machine go for 40 poundsthe only downside of these machines is that they use more electricity than other unitsthis seems fair as it will still do a tremendous job and dry all the clothes that you want it to! read more
