The brazilian rosewood fretboard is in immaculate condition and the original frets show very little string wearthis bass was made in the gibson factory in kalamazoo, michigan and is all original with no missing or replaced parts or breaksthere is also a fitted pro metal flight case for an extra £100 which gives bomb proof protection for gigging musicians but weighs an absolute tonnethe catches on the case are unpredictable and can pop outit comes with the original heavy oblong case which has taken all the abuse during its lifetime therefore allowing the bass itself to remain in fabulous condition5-inch scale jointed mahogany neck and one large sidewinder humbucking pickup in the neck positionit is in really excellent condition for 52 year old instrumentthe one piece mahogany neck is a ’d’ profile and on the slimmer sidethe bass boost switch can be a little scratchy when engagedi’m reluctantly selling my epiphone rivoli eb232 bassoften missing with these is the felt string mute at the bridge but this one is original and intact and in fully working conditionit's srung with flats woundsit has the original palm rest and the really nice original torty pickguardplease note that this flight case is in storage at a different location to the guitar and would need to be collected separately by arrangementas a genuine vintage instrument from the ’s golden era of guitar manufacture it will increase its value over the years if looked after properlytechnical specification the rivoli features an es-335-style semi-hollow body, made from laminated maple with a maple centre block, a short 30the original finish is still bright and has the perfect amount of patination that a vintage instrument should have and includes some small dings and belt marks to the finish on the reversethe bass is a lot of fun to play and has a very different tonal palette to explorecollect only from z1 central london
