I think that the 5 pin midi input or output may not work correctly (from memory) however if you connect to a computer with usb then this won't be an issue since the unit sends and receives midi just fine over usbit connects to the computer with usb, and it acts as both a midi keyboard controller and also as an audio interface (2 in 2 out) it has nice chunky mod and pitch wheels which are backlit with red leds, as are some of the other controlsit can be powered from usb or an adapter, but i have only ever used it powered from usbit also has a really cool expression controller dome that sense your hand position just above itas far as i recall everything else works finethis is a very cool little controller suitable for a very compact bedroom music studio setup
