Male lesser hedgehog tenrec for salethey are also amazing climbers - if you provide them with lots of sticks & thin branches they will amaze you by hanging upside downthis species is so funny to watch - they bumble around like little wombles, have sand baths where they literally scoop up little paw-fulls of sand & rub it all over themselves, gobble up mealworms & crunch up grain-free, high protein cat food biscuitsi used to breed african pygmy hedgehogs too but i found them to be very smelly (their food just passed straight through them), but these tenrecs have a totally different metabolism & i find them to be smell-freehe is just over a year old & i am only selling him because he is surplus to requirements for my breeding programmei have handled him lots & he is very tamecollection only from haslemere, surrey (just along from guildford on the a3) read morei have kept many mammal species & this is one of my very favourites to keep as a 'pet'
