You will notice in the advert i have mentioned that i am ideally looking for a pet home onlyhe is a beautiful snake and other than his derpy demeanour, he will make an absolutely amazing pet for someone looking for an opportunity to work with this incredible speciesit is with regret that i am looking to rehome my sub-adult male black head pythonhe is around 3 years old and 5ftthe reason for rehoming is to focus solely on hognose projectsthis is due to an apparent neurological issue that appeared around 18 months ago (the behaviour is similar to that of a spider royal 'head wobble/ tilt')i also have a full feeding/ shedding and health records since i bought him in if requiredi will be at doncaster in september for anyone further afieldno sign of trauma, his organs are in perfect function, bloods showed no sign of increased white cell count, they also ruled out fungal/ viral issueshe has had extensive examinations at the vets including x-rays/ blood tests and he is in a perfect bill of healthwould prefer you to see him in person before he goes to make sure you are happy, but this is ultimately at the buyers discretionsince then he feeds, sheds & poos perfectly, and although he can be a little hissy getting him out of his enclosure (typical bhp), he has never so much as struck at me, and is very alerti am looking for around £400 to ensure he goes to the correct home, however i am definitely open to offers if the right person comes alongthey came to the conclusion that this must have been something that was dormant at birth and presented itself later on, as other than the strange head tilt, he was in perfect shapehe had a 2 month feeding hiatus at the beginning of the year but i imagine he was in breeding modecheers, pat read more
