Good condition – as shown – slightly crazed on underside where the backstamp is – “sadler england” embossed under the glaze – some of the gilt trim is very slightly rubbed – 1” long brown line inside base – not sure if it’s a hairline crack but it feels smooth & appears to be underneath the glaze – tiny notch centre of straight top opening – however this appears to be part of the design – as opposed to a flaw – this teapot must be at least 30 years old – but could be a bit older sadler england – pretty floral fluted teapot – off white base colour – measures approximately 5” tall without lid & just under 7” tall with lid – maximum width from spout to handle approximately 8½” – approximate diameter of bulbous body at widest part approximately 5¾” – lid has 2 small floral posies – large posy on front of teapot – smaller posy on reverse – gilt trim around end of spout, along outer handle & on lid finial whilst not totally perfect – this is a beautiful & understated teapot – probably more suited to decorative use – although could be used practically – priced reasonably to reflect minor flaws & for quick sale ps - i'll happily send this very pretty teapot to anywhere in the uk for an additional charge of £750 - all i need is your best offer (including this charge) along with your e-mail address - i'll then send you a paypal invoice to give you a link for your payment (this will also mean that you get the all important buyer protection too) read more
