This machine was bought new some years ago and used for around 6 months to record some demos at home, then was put away, spent most of its life under a cover in the spare room, until recently when i started to use it again i discovered that the r/p audio cards had all failed due to capacitors leaking on to the boards,{seems to be common in these machines} thus resulting in a major recapping of all 24 audio cards some 33 in each card all replaced, an expensive repair! the unit now functions as it should and sounds great, in fact it has seen less than 100 hours use in its life time, hence in vgc it also comes with the rare time code card installed which was an optional extra at the time, all functions working, front autolocater can be set at different anglesfostex g24s 24 track multitrack recorder, beautiful machine, one inch tape formatunit weighs around 35 kgs so would advise you come and collect read more

It’s also had a set of tuners added some time agofrom then on i was intrigued and did some digging and found the guy that built the guitar was living in a care home in nottinghamian and rob were living in the rented house and eventually started working togethera set of new string were added making it very easy and comfortable to playit’s just had the saddle replaced (bone) and had a great setuphow do i know it was made in because there is a punched 70 to the top of the headstock? the provenance of this guitar is very interesting as it was made in a garage just outside newquay in by three guys starting upi managed to find out that from the guy that i bought the guitar from that he’d swapped it for a motor bike (bsa 175 bantam) in tintagel of the summer ofbut after a few years they went bankrupt inhe said that they were always working on a shoestring so couldn’t really advertise as it cost too muchkris told me ian was the main salesman and that most of their guitars were sold around falmouth and padstow areaabout a month later his goddaughter got in touch to say he had died from coronavirusthe guitar is clean and in quite good condition for a guitar that was made inthey decided they would build 12 string and bass guitars hoping to find that knish marketkris also told me he was 94 and had just had a fall so for a couple of weeks i was only getting snippets of information then everything went quietafter a couple of years they did move into some premises in the newquay areaeric davison known as kris was the man in chargeyeah there’s the odd ding here and there but nothing seriousi did ask kris what happened

I recall seeing a restored 3 seater in hampstead for sale some years ago for £two arm chairs and one three seater (x2 single armchairs and x1 3 seater) i brought it down to wiltshire to restore having seen how beautiful these ash frames look stripped of their dark s varnishi grew up with this suite - many memories of it as a childhaving done some research, i see this is a common issue as the bent wood ageswebbing needs replacing on the 3 seater and one of the chairsi know these can be repairedwould love them to live on - they deserve to! comes with cushions and covers (which i was planning to use as templates for new ones)any questions, just let me knowi stored in my garage but sadly they have annoyingly been damaged - i presume by the fluctuating temperature (some of the arms have split - see picture)happy to help lift into a van/on a roof rack

The wooden arms and legs were painted some time ago and it was professionally reupholstered in top quality tartan wool fabric a few years ago(this alone actually cost far more than i am listing it for) max approx dimensions h 97cm w of arms 67cm depth of chair 69cm (these are not the sizes of the cushions but the chair itself it has not been used since then, apart from an occasional "sit" as it has been sited in my studya vintage parker knoll armchair with wooden armsit has been in my family for many yearsit is very comfortable and fairly upright making it a great chair for getting up from! read more
