I learnt to ride on this saddle on my first pony almost 50 years ago it was bought secondhand then but has always been looked afterall of which were changed for new english leather ones 4 years ago and it has only been used for a few months sincethis saddle hasnot been used in about 4 years and is just taking up spacein the houselovely quality englishleather with some signs of wear on the flaps - on the near side over the point of the tree and on the off side at the bottomthe girth guards would appear to have been robbed from this lovely saddle at some pointhowever i haven'thad any more youngsters for a while hiand feel that i am too oldcan be collected from herstmonceuxevenings or weekends or sheffield zpark during the week 8-4it has been kept because it is a very lightweight full tree english leather saddle and ideal for breaking young horses -i have broken many with thisit has been stored indoors and in the dry for 50yrs at leastcash on collection only, pleaseit has four girth straps each side

I bought it from christies 50 years agoit was professionally repaired 50 years ago for a slight discoloration hardly noticeable a similar vase was sold in bristol for about pounds some years agothis chinese kangxi vase is dated circa in brilliant blue and part of the shaw collectioni will deliver within a reasonable distancedo not trust postage

This vintage allcocks 'gloria' fishing rod was originally purchased by my father over 50 years agoalso, please note that some of the rings have been re-whipped with the wrong colour silk and where the rod has been stored away, it is very warped, which you may be able to make out in photos 1-3subsequently, this rod may be more suitable for repair or for parts read morethe top most section of the rod also doesn't sit firmly in its slotit is in good condition but having been used shows some signs of wear here and there
