skewbald, three year old, standard shetland pony type (not registered) geldingor to just be a companion and left alonebut then some days if a bird flies out of the hedge and spooks him then he’ll think you’ve hurt him and doesn’t want to knowwhen i bought him i was told he’d not had a good start in lifehe is quiet and calm in the paddockhe comes over for food in a bucket and that’s how i catch himonce you’ve got him, he’s happy to be brushed and have a fussthe good bits - tonto is a fantastic companionsadly i just don’t have the time to give him what he needsif he went in a huge paddock you wouldn’t get near himi purchased tonto a few months ago to be a companion pony to my older horseit’s much easier having him in a smaller space, at least until he learns to trust youhe’s a lovely looking chap with gorgeous blue eyeshe’s been stabled and is happy to be left in or go out on his own/with companyyou can take others away and he doesn’t whinny or get sillyhe’s happy to be left alone and doesn’t get attached to other horseshe’s just very nervous but with the stubbornness of a shetland! he’s passported, wormed and feet trimmedhe just needs a one to one, sympathetic handler to give him time and let him learn to trustthe not so good bits - although quiet, tonto is very nervous around peoplehe is very easily spooked and very good at scaring himself! he is not suitable for children or novicesi don’t want much for him, but he isn’t free as i don’t want him ending up in the wrong handshe loves his treats and starts to relax if the handler is calm and steady around himhe is a shetland type but not overweight and doesn’t get fathe is tricky to catch and needs to be kept in restricted turnout for this reasonmy older horse has since been sold and now this little chap is by himself and in need of a new home

2 skewbald ish gelding and is 15 years oldmac comes from a hacking home so i haven’t done much schooling or jumping with him, therefore i haven’t been pushing him to his full potential, however with the right rider and knowledge mac will school and jump lovely, as he has done with his previous ownermac is also ridden in a snaffle bit and hacks both alone and in company, first or lastmac is amazing on bridleways however not 100% solid on roads due to being nervous around bikes and tractorsmac can sometimes be a little nervy around the farrier but nothing to much to worry about as will stand still once told, or occupied with treatsmac will come with full tack and rugsall teeth, jabs and worming up to dateno loans! mac’s amazing on the ground and can be groomed/handled by both children and adults as he has the best ground manners i’ve ever seen, even with dogs running around the yardhe has always had really good feet so is barefoothe is not silly at all and can be ridden in big open spaces, sometimes can be a little strong but will always be able to bring him backmac is a gorgeous and best mannered 15sad sale due to not having enough time for him and not giving him the love and attention he deservesvetting welcomemac will stand still to have his whole body clipped, but doesn’t really enjoy his face being done and can be a bit unsettled but with patience he’ll let you do itplease message for further detailsmac is very much one of a kind and will not just go to anybody therefore a good home is a mustmac would be perfectly suited to a competent teenager or adult who wants to do either go on long fun hacks or schoolinghe’s just overall chilled and stands stillmac would not be suitable for a novice rider, as he can be quite sensitive and needs a calm and quiet rider with confidence

3 approx skewbald gelding 8 years old he’s a forward but safe ride, he’s currently competing classes! has jumped up to 115 at home on a single fence i’d like him to go to an experienced jumping home only please as he can be strong, but put him in an arena and he just knows his job and gets on with it! he gets placed almost every time hes been out -it’s usually my daughter loosing the way round that they don’t get placed! he’s jumped bs on ticket but not with us, he’s also qualified for sunshine horse show and he’s qualified for grassroots championships uk last month! he’s good to clip, good for farrier being trimmed (has to be twitched or sedated for shoes on) he loads straight on a trailer or lorry fine but can be bouncy once on and travelling good in the stable with company but doesn’t like to be on his ownno vices! 10* experienced jumping home only for this lovey boy! up to date with jabs, teeth, farrier, worming, physio etc very sad sale but my daughter doesn’t stop growing and doesn’t fit in his saddle properly anymore, this is the only reason he’s for sale! possible 2 weeks trial if paid in full with a nonrefundable deposit in place £ just for him or £ with new fitted ideal close contact jumping saddle no offers or loans as we’re looking to buy another horse read morealthough he’s on his own with us in the stable/field at the moment fields on his own or with mares or geldings-currently on his own he hacks out alone or in company, he’s a forward joggy hack but no nastiness in him what so ever! doesn’t bother about traffic what we have seen with himcracking jumping pony 13
