If you've been learning on a stentor student or stentor student ii this an ideal instrument to progress onbelow is information from bonnersmusic: the stentor conservatoire is an excellent violin for intermediate players and abovebought from brittens music in , chosen by my daughter's teacher, an older violin, much played by my daughter until october when upsized to the full sizethe conservatoire is hand carved from attractive tonewoodsdeluxe oblong water-resistant lightweight case with integral coverthe front is made from finely carved spruce and the back, ribs & neck are solid carved maplethe pegs & fingerboard are ebony and the violin is fitted with an alloy tailpiece that has integral adjustersthe bow is wooden with white horsehair and a full mounted ebony frogin excellent conditionit also includes a music pocket, hygrometer and a case blanket which helps protect your violin, especially the bridgethe instrument is finished with shellax varnish and is also fitted with a teka pattern hardwood chin rest
