Brief specs - sitka spruce soundboard with incredible looking african blackwood back and sides with a nice maple binding (all solid wood) and abalone decor on the sound holea mahogany neck with ebony fretboard gives a nice easy playing feelthis comes with a hiscox light flight solid casein terms of transparency it appears that the tortoise coloured pick guard has been fitted at some stage and it very very slightly misaligned from the sound holei am asking £ or very near offerif you need any more info please message or contact meif it is any more than that i will pay the difference so you know what the cost will bethe dense blackwood back and sides gives this guitar an incredible sound particularly on the bass sideoverall the guitar is in excellent condition with just a few minor age related blemishes and marksnone of them show up on any pictures i have takenit is fitted with a fishman under saddle pickup and has rather expensive gotoh delta 510's 21-1 high ratio tuning gearsi was told from the seller i purchased it from that alan had said that due to the high quality of these instruments they would be in the region of £ new if he was still making themalso there appears to be a non visible edging on the varnish on the top / middle boutas i live on the isle of lewis i am prepared to have it couriered(unless you want to come over and try it:) i guess costing would be about £25if it is less i will reduce the cost accordinglyfor sale due to scaling down is my northworthy castleton guitarcastleton guitars are very rare as alan does not make them anymoreit is a hand made instrument made by alan marshall from derbyshire init is solid and is only barely noticeable when you run a finger over it
