Loves people and great with other horses1 shire x we have owned him for about 8 months but have found he does not like our life stylewe have him in most of winter and working just in the school a couple of days a week but he would like to go back to living out more and hacking he finds the school boring as he is very noseyhe is a real gentle giant and great to handle stands perfect for clipping, bathing etc up to date with everything he is unshod at the moment as only in the school but would benefit from shoes with road workhe does kick the door when food has finished another reason he is best outfairfax saddle negotiable read morehe will decide to do the odd spook in the school if he feels his rider is a complete novice but great to hack in trafficcomes with english bridle and all his rugs

He was bred by a local stud that specialises in dressage horsesplease read the entire advert as hugo is very special and will not be going to just anybodyother than slightly overgrown feet he has no health issueshe was broken in at age 3, ridden out hacking a couple of times, and has since been in the fieldhe is a stunning coloured gelding, solid as a tank but without the feathers of your standard large horsehe has an incredibly lovely nature but he is still very much a baby and absolutely does not realise his sizehe will make someone an amazing allrounder and i had always planned a future together, however i simply do not have the ability to bring out the best in him and i am hoping the right person will guide him into being the amazing horse i know he can and will behe has had his feet trimmed but in recent months has started messing around with the farrierhe is not aware of how big he is and although he has not got a malicious bone in his body he can sometimes be dangerous without even realising itbecause of my health issues i am unable to make him co-operate and this is something he will need to re-learnalthough he has not been measured recently he is easily above 17hh and has an amazing presence! a change in circumstances means that my plans to educate hugo are no longer viablehe is being sold from the field and i do not have any facilities for riding or testing himhe is a beautiful genuine gentle giant who needs to find his forever homeplease don’t hesitate to message me if you have any other questions about hugohugo is a beautiful shire/hanoverian/mix of a type that is rare to find in this day and agehe will only be going to a home that has experience with educating youngsters and the ability and experience to handle a large horsehe will need re-starting and he will need a very experienced and strong rider to reteach him all the basicshe is passported and microchipped

Hector has been out on the busy roads passing tractors,buses quads and horse and carts! he does like to follow other horses as they are teaching him the ropes! he will hack alone with no fuss but due to his age he will be a bit looky as to be expected from a cob at his agehector 15"2 rising 15"3 four year old cob gelding, heavy type solid bone, i would say he has some shire in him due to bone and build! he has just just turned four years old and been professionally broken in to a good high standard! hector is laid back genuine no vices or issues very willing and happy to please and gives you 100% in everything you ask of himhe's in need of more weight he come to us poor however he's doubled in size in the few months we have owned him and he loves his food! it won't be long till he's a heavy weight fat cob! cobs of this quality and size and build do not come around oftenmy cob has been taking him out along the busy roads and bridal ways and he's been an absolute super star! iff your looking for the finished article then hector isn't for you as he needs a few more months of hacking out alone and in company however he's safe, steady and reliable and would never buck rear or bronk! he just needs to see the world a bit more! he's stabled on a busy yard chilldren running around,dogs, and cars and lorries in and out and he's not phased but i feel he needs to do more hacking and see more before i would call him bombproof!! hector has excellent ground manners loves fuss and attention, he's excellent to shoe,box,loads and travels perfect! he has excellent stable manners very loving and calm and super affectionate! loves kisses and cuddles and will follow you around the yard like a dog! he's handled by chilldren on a daily basis and happy to be lead around at the end of the rope! he's chilled and happy and so loving he's very approachable never nervous and got a old head on his shouldershe's happy to stand and wait patiently for the mounting block with no issues, he's happy for you to fuss around and whatever you need to do before you get going, hector is snaffle mouthed with the three steady paces in the school, hes walk trot,canter takes correct leads and has great breaks! he's light in your hands nice mouth snaffle and soft! that's a sighn of a good horse being broken and brought on correctly! hector is not working an outline due to him only being four but showing wiling and within a few more months of correct schooling he will be working correctly into a contact, hector is genuine laid back and honest! hector has done x poles fancy coloured poles bright fillers and been threw water! he's happy to jump up to 70" with ease without hesitation and not phased iff he knocks a pole! he's very much seen it all and done it all thow due to his age further education will make him a better cobbased in wickford essex open to vetting/bloods and comes with warranty

I’ve owned him since he was weaned so i know everything about him! he has been mis treated in the past so i’m very particular on who he will go to! i bought him with the intention to plough/ride and show him but unfortunately i haven’t the time for my boy anymore, heart breaking genuine sale read morerising 4 year old registered pedigree shire,passported/microchipped he is still entire! as i’ve not had the chance to get him castrated yet, he has covered one mareeddie is the sweetest of boys, he has the most amazing personality, he’s done a small amount of work including long reining and has been sat on, but by no means is he broken in! he’s amazing with all sorts of traffic he babysits my other older horses! eddie goes in a stable but does prefer to be outside as much as he can, due to his age and being entire he can be difficult when he has his moments
