2 miniature shetlands mare chestnut roan 9 year old gelding black 18 year old these shetlands were bought to be childrens ponies however we have had them and they much prefer adults, they are tolerant of children and been sat on led around, lunged, long reined both very happily just they can be strong and can sense they prefer to be dealt with by adultsthanks read moreany further questions please get in touchboth need a hay free diet due to having previously had gum disease from hay getting stuck between there teethboth really like affection and a good groom they are wonderful little pets just we want something just that bit more child friendly that they can get on and do a bit more withperfect to have feet trimmed this is all up to date aswell as teeth and vet checksboth live out together and must stay together as they have been together for yearsthe gelding is seeing the vet regularly for teeth work and has had blood tests done, our blood tests have come back there was nothing wrong with him however the previous owner seemed to think there was, in our vets words he was starved and is still being bought up to weight now (pretty much there) as he was practically skin and bone
